The Rhapsody from Asia Pacific University College of Technology & Innovation (UCTI) won the champion again this year and defense their seats to the Imagine Cup Worldwide Final at Sydney, Australia. They will represent Malaysia to the Imagine Cup Worldwide Final.
On the other hand, 4GM from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) won the 1st Runner-Up and Sirius from same university with 4GM won the 2nd Runner-Up and Presentation Stars award in Imagine Cup Malaysia 2012. Besides that, Beyond the Imagination from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Team Drinking Water from Asia Pacific University College of Technology & Innovation (UCTI) and SLIM from Tunku Abdul Rahman College (TARC) won the Consolation Prizes in Software Design Challenge. UTM KiHECT Team from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia won the Kinect Fun Labs Challenge.
